MBIP RECEIVED EXCELLENT PBT RECOGNITION FOR THE 2025 DENGUE EPIDEMIC PREVENTION CAMPAIGN

Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) has received the 2025 Environmental Health Campaign Outstanding Local Government Recognition for the Dengue Epidemic Prevention Campaign category, in conjunction with the 2025 KPKT World Environmental Health Day Celebration Ceremony with the theme “Prosperous Environment, Harmonious Society, Civilized Nation.” This prestigious award was presented by YB Tuan Nga Kor Ming, Minister of Local Government Housing (KPKT) to YBhg. Tuan Haji Hasrin Kamal bin Hashim, Mayor of MBIP in recognition of his outstanding efforts in organizing high-impact programs to increase community awareness of dengue prevention.
The Dengue Outbreak Prevention Campaign was implemented at Flat Pulai Utama on 5 July 2025, with the aim of curbing the spread of dengue fever among local residents as well as strengthening shared responsibility for environmental cleanliness. It is hoped that MBIP will continue to excel in implementing and delivering services related to environmental health to ensure the sustainability and well-being of the people of Iskandar Puteri is maintained.
