Current action
Pruning work, felling of risky trees, removal of illegal plants and cleaning of fallen trees are being actively carried out following public complaints and periodic inspections by the Landscape Department.
The implementation of work involving the Cut Down Unit (UTC) together with contractors appointed by the Iskandar Puteri City Council as a preventive measure to reduce the risk of incidents that may affect the safety of road users and the public.
Maintenance is concentrated in public areas such as main roads, residential areas and playgrounds to ensure trees remain healthy, stable and safe. This effort helps reduce the risk of fallen trees or broken branches.
MBIP remains committed to maintaining a balance between green landscape sustainability and public safety through risk assessment and continuous tree health inspections.
The public is advised to keep the neighborhood and playground clean to avoid the breeding of disease vectors such as dengue.
