SITE VISIT TO THE FLOODED AREA OF JALAN ZAPIN, TAMAN SKUDAI BARU
The Honorable Dato’ Haji Mohd Haffiz bin Haji Ahmad, MBIP Mayor together with representatives of the MBIP Department and technical agencies discussed the best steps that can be taken to resolve the flood issue here. The actions that will be taken are as follows:
1. Work to upgrade the 'rubble pitching' drain structure to U-Drain.
2.Build an 'On-Site Detention' pool under the playground area.
It is hoped that this project, which is estimated to be worth 2 million, can to some extent help reduce the flood problem in this area.
