Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) together with strategic partner, CBH Recycle M Sdn Bhd in collaboration with the Jabatan Alam Sekitar has organized the Drive To Save @ Drive To Save Recycling Program, located at the Public Parking Lot, MBIP Medini.

This program was created as an alternative to the garbage disposal solution that is now prevalent in all MBIP administrative areas where the community only needs to send recycled goods on a drive-thru basis using the Waste To Wealth (WTW) concept. Through this program as well, the community can educate themselves to separate the types of garbage according to the following categories of plastic, paper, glass, cooking oil and others.

In addition, this program is conducted to increase environmental awareness and educate the community about the importance of taking care of the environment and giving the public the opportunity to take positive action towards the preservation of the environment.

The Recycling Program held has received a satisfactory response for the first time this year. A total of 1250kg of recycled goods were sent and a total of 3596.36ktCO2 were successfully rescued. The Council would like to thank the community for their support in this program while reducing the negative impact on the environment and providing opportunities for future generations to enjoy a healthier earth.
