DIALOGUE SESSION (TOWNHALL) WITH THE RESIDENTS OF KAMPUNG PULAI GELANG PATAH UNDER THE ADMINISTRATION OF ISKANDAR PUTERI CITY COUNCIL
February 2, 2025 | Pulai Village Broken BraceletThe Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) held a Dialogue Session (Townhall) with the Residents of Kampung Pulai Gelang Patah to discuss property tax issues, communication between stakeholders and MBIP services for the well-being of the community.
This session was attended by YB Datuk Pandak bin Haji Ahmad, Kota Iskandar assemblyman; Mr. Yusli bin Yusuf, Councilor Zone 9: Broken Bracelet; Tok Haji Abdul Rahman bin Halim, Head of Pulai Village Broken Bracelet; PMgr.Sr.Ts Dr. Haji Mohamed Ali bin Mohamed Abu Backer; Director of Valuation and Property Management MBIP, Sr Zatul Amri Bin Zanal Assistant Director of Valuation Department of Valuation and Property Management, Puan Nurulain binti Rahmat, Director of Public Health and Muhamad Zharif bin Ahmad, representative of MBIP Landscape Department.
The session started with a speech from YB Datuk Pandak bin Haji Ahmad who emphasized the importance of property tax in area development, followed by Encik Yusli bin Yusuf who explained the benefits and advantages of paying property tax to residents.
Next, the dialogue also discusses property valuation and tax rate setting by Sr. Zatul Amri bin Zanal, and ended with a presentation by Puan Nurulain binti Rahmat, who discussed health initiatives such as fogging programs, pest control and solving the issue of stray dog disorder.
The session also opened a question and answer space, where residents suggested that regular meetings be held to improve communication between MBIP and the community.
