The Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) held a Townhall Dialogue Session with the residents of Kampung Melayu Lima Kedai to discuss the Coordination of the Valuation List of the village area.
This session went well and received a positive response from the local residents. Also present in this session were the Honorable Datuk Pandak bin Haji Ahmad, Kota Iskandar Assemblyman, Tuan Haji Yusof bin Ahmad, Councilor Zone 13 : Kota Iskandar, Tuan Haji Zainuddin bin Zainal Abidin, Penghulu of Kampung Melayu Lima Kedai, Mr. Abdul Halim bin Abdullah, Head of Kampung Melayu Lima Kedai.
Also present in this session were Puan Nurulain binti Rahmat, Director of Public Health MBIP and Ts. Rosaidi bin Ibrahim, Director of MBIP Engineering, who also gave information about the development of the area and answered the residents' questions.
The session started with a presentation from PMgr. Sr. Ts. Dr. Tuan Haji Mohamed Ali bin Mohamed Abu Backer, Director of the Property Valuation and Management Department, who provided a holistic explanation of the implementation of taxes in the area. Next, the assessment coordination session continued by Sr. Zatul Amri bin Zanal, Assistant Director of Evaluation of the MBIP Evaluation Division who is responsible for coordinating and explaining the evaluation process to residents to ensure a clearer understanding.
This session ended with a question and answer session and a speech by the Honorable Datuk Pandak bin Haji Ahmad who emphasized the importance of tax payment in ensuring development progress, especially in the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) as well as efforts to ensure the well-being and comfort of residents under MBIP administration.
