ISKANDAR PUTERI CITY COUNCIL INTERNAL INVESTIGATION TECHNIQUE STRENGTHENING COURSE FOR 2025

In conjunction with the Governance, Integrity and Anti-Corruption Strengthening Module (MPGIA) Series 2, the Integrity Unit of Iskandar Puteri City Council held an MBIP Internal Investigation Technique Strengthening Course involving 40 participants from the Management & Professional Group conducted by Mr. Muhammad Hafiz bin Yazid, Investigation Officer, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Integrity Unit.
This course is held with the aim of giving exposure to the participants about internal investigation techniques which are the principles of detection and verification in the Core Functions of the Integrity Unit. This course also exposes MBIP officers to appropriate and effective investigation methods and techniques as well as witness handling procedures and document reporting correctly and effectively, in addition to improving officers' understanding of the offenses contained in the Public Officers (Conduct and Discipline) Regulations 1993 and the MACC Act 2009 Penal Code and the latest circulars from time to time.
This effort reflects MBIP's commitment to achieving its objectives and further elevating MBIP as a progressive, quality, harmonious public organization that can prevent corruption issues among MBIP employees. Good cooperation from all parties, this program was successfully implemented and benefited the participants present.
