The Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) has organized a Dialogue Session (Townhall) with the Residents of Kampung Laut, aimed at discussing the coordination of the assessment list and the improvement of municipal services in the area.

This session was attended by PMgr. Sr. Ts. Dr. Tuan Haji Mohamed Ali bin Mohamed Abu Backer, Director of Valuation and Property Management Department. Also present was Mr. Sr. Zatul Amri bin Zanal, Assistant Director of Evaluation of the MBIP Evaluation Division, Mr. Mohamad Shafiq Affendy bin A. Latif, Environmental Health Officer of MBIP Public Health Department.

The session started with a presentation by the Director of the Valuation and Property Management Department who gave an explanation on the implementation of taxes in the area. The session continued with the Assistant Director of Assessment, MBIP Assessment Division who commented on the coordination of the assessment list of village areas, followed by a briefing on municipal services and the implementation of public cleaning in the Kampung Laut area by the MBIP Environmental Health Officer.

Residents also had the opportunity to voice their views, suggestions, and questions in a question and answer session that took place openly, transparently, and constructively.

The MBIP expresses its highest appreciation to all the residents of Kampung Laut for their presence and active involvement in this session. It is hoped that the ongoing discussion can produce more effective actions for the well-being and progress of the local community.
