The Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) through the Licensing Department, the Enforcement Department and the Public Health Department have state inspections and enforcement actions at the Ramadan Bazaar Jalan Kemiliran 4 & 5, Taman Universiti. This step is taken to ensure that all traders comply with the licensing conditions as well as hygiene and health guidelines throughout the month of Ramadan.
In this inspection, the MBIP has issued one (1) Stop Business Notice (NHN) to hawkers who refuse to enter the designated bazaar area, as well as taking one (1) confiscation action against foreign nationals who do not have business permission.
Also present in this inspection session was Mr. Fakhrul Zafran bin Absl Kamarul Azman, Council Member Zone 5: Taman Universiti, as well as Assistant Director of Licensing, Mr. Mohamad Fahim Azman bin Ab Jalal. MBIP is also committed to ensuring compliance with the rules to ensure the smooth operation of the Ramadan bazaar for the comfort and safety of all parties.
