The Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) has carried out inspection and enforcement activities at the Ramadan Bazaar at the Perling Mall Taman Perling parking lot.
A total of 10 officers were involved in the inspection of 176 business sites involving 188 food operators, where all operators had obtained typhoid injections as required. The inspection also found that no foreign workers were found. 'pamphlets' and 'Flyers' have also been distributed to traders and visitors to raise awareness about food hygiene and safety.
In addition, MBIP also monitors compliance with stall cleanliness, orderly garbage disposal, the implementation of site cleaning works after the end of daily sales as well as the implementation of environmentally friendly initiatives. MBIP continues to encourage the use of food packaging materials that are more environmentally friendly to maintain environmental sustainability.
