Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) held a Townhall Session with the Community at Kampung Sungai Melayu Town Hall, Iskandar Puteri.
This townhall session and site visit was attended by residents and other agencies totaling 50 people who were co-chaired by Yang Berbahagia Tuan Hj. Ahmad Nazir bin Hj. Mohd Nasir, Mayor of MBIP and Honorable Datuk Hj. Pandak bin Hj. Ahmad, Kota Iskandar assemblyman and also joined by MBIP Councilors, Village Heads along with directors and representatives of MBIP departments.
The purpose of this Townhall is to provide information to the residents and also discuss matters arising from the Tourism Infrastructure Development project in Kampung Sungai Melayu, Iskandar Puteri Johor which has started to be carried out at the development site.
This development project involves two important components, namely Hentian Leluri and Pengkalan Leluri, which will upgrade the tourism infrastructure at the same time making Kampung Sungai Melayu one of the interesting places and tourist locations for local citizens and foreign tourists ahead of the Year of Visiting Johor 2026.
