Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) has carried out inspection and enforcement activities at the Ramadan Bazaar.
A total of 5 officers have been involved in the inspection of 90 business sites involving a total of 103 food operators , where all operators have received typhoid injections as required. The inspection also found that no foreign workers were found. 'pamphlets' and 'Flyers' have also been distributed to traders and visitors to raise awareness about food hygiene and safety.
In addition, MBIP also monitors compliance with stall cleanliness, orderly garbage disposal, the implementation of site cleaning works after the end of daily sales as well as the implementation of environmentally friendly initiatives. MBIP continues to encourage the use of food packaging materials that are more environmentally friendly to maintain environmental sustainability.
