BREAKING THE FAST CEREMONY AND DONATION PRESENTATION CEREMONY FOR TAHFIZ STUDENTS
Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) continues its annual tradition by organizing a ceremony to break the fast and present donations to Tahfiz students in collaboration with Yayasan Penyayang Iskandar Puteri, Iskandar Investment Berhad - IIB and Puspanita MBIP. This year, a total of 98 students from Madrasah Tahfiz Arrahimiyyah, Kampung Bukit Tempurung, Gelang Patah have received donations aimed at easing the burden of those who are less able and bringing joy ahead of Syawal.
The donation was presented by Yang Berbahia Tuan Hj. Ahmad Nazir bin Hj. Mohd Nasir, Mayor of MBIP with the presence of guests of honor who also enlivened the ceremony, including Mr. Tambi Omar bin Latip, Councilor Zone 19: Selesa Jaya; YM Ungku Suzana Binti Ungku Mohammad, MBIP Secretary; Mrs. Siti Aidah Binti Abd Rahman, Senior Deputy President of Asset Management, Iskandar Investment Berhad; and YBhg. Datuk Md Othman bin Haji Yusof, Patron of Al-Asma'ul Husna Mosque.
Also present were Datuk Haji Anuar bin Haji Hassan, Managing Director of Aura Islam Gallery; Mr. Mohamed Shukri bin Deraman, Head of Asset Management, Iskandar Investment Berhad; Mrs. Hajah Sharifah Leila Zuraidah Binti Haji Syed Nordin, Chairman of Puspanita MBIP; Tuan Haji Muhamad Sapar bin Haji Musir, Chairman of Al-Asma'ul Husna Mosque; as well as Mr. Shahrulizam Bin Abdul Rashid, Deputy Secretary of MBIP.
The ceremony continued with a brief tazkirah that gave reminders and spiritual filling to the attendees while waiting for breaking the fast.
This event reflects MBIP's commitment in strengthening the spirit of togetherness as well as fueling the values of courtesy and love in the community. May this effort bring blessings to all.
