The MBIP has carried out monitoring in several areas at risk of flooding following the continuous heavy rain. The results of the survey found that the water level of the river is increasing and some areas have started to be flooded.

Locations Involved:
Tuah Jaya village
Kampung Baru Gelang Patah
New Village Consensus
Iskandar Housing Area
Broken Bracelet Malay Village
Syed Idrus Park

To date, an estimated 55 houses in Kg. Tuah Jaya has been affected by the flood. In addition, the tide phenomenon also occurred in Kg. Malay Broken Bracelet and Kg. Baru Muafakat, adding to the risk of rising water in the area.
As a follow-up measure, MBIP members will continue to carry out regular monitoring to ensure the situation is under control.
We call for residents in risk areas to always be prepared to face any eventuality and obey the instructions of the authorities to ensure personal and family safety.
