On 20 March 2025, the department received a total of five (5) complaints from the public and the Malaysian Civil Defense Force (APM) regarding the incident of fallen trees in several locations.
Following the complaints received, the cleaning work has been actively carried out by the Cantas Cutting Unit (UTC) of the Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) in collaboration with the MBIP Disaster Squad and the public. Immediate action is taken to ensure that closed routes can be reopened and reduce safety risks for road users. All complaints have been successfully resolved, and the situation at the location is now under control.
The public is advised to be vigilant and take precautions against possible natural disasters, especially in residential areas and along the way on the road. Any incident can be reported to the authorities for immediate action.
