The LA21 Education Sustainability Program Townhall session for the year 2025 was successfully completed by Mr. Tambi Omar bin Latip, Secretary of the MBIP Council. This program was also attended by YM Ungku Suzana binti Ungku Mohammad, MBIP Secretary, Council Members, MBIP directors, Johor Bahru District Education Office, Kulai District Education Office, Johor Bahru District Health Office, Kulai District Health Office, Education Office Johor Bahru District Islam, Kulai District Islamic Education Office, Solid Waste Management and Public Cleaning Corporation - SWCorp and SWM Environment Sdn Bhd as well as educators.
The LA21 Educational Sustainability Program emphasizes a number of objectives, among which is to increase the level of awareness among school members about the importance of environmental preservation and conservation, promote the implementation of environmentally friendly activities effectively, increase cooperation between schools and the community in making environmental education a success, as well as creating a school atmosphere that conducive to producing school members who practice sustainable living practices.
Therefore, MBIP with the support of all levels of society, community involvement, the support of educators and the strength of the leadership pillars, will launch the LA21 Education Sustainability Program in 2025 at the MBIP level towards a sustainable and prosperous city.
