The Launching Ceremony of the 2025 MBIP Level Dengue Outbreak Prevention Campaign took place in line with the initiative of the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) in an effort to combat the spread of dengue outbreaks at the community level.
The launch ceremony was officiated by Mr. Teo Teck Boon, MBIP Main Pulai Zone Council Member and was also attended by Puan Nurulain binti Rahmat, MBIP Public Health Director, YM Ungku Ahmad bin Ungku Mohd Zakaria, MBIP Community Development Director, representatives from the Johor Bahru District Health Office, Iskandar Regional Development Authority (IRDA), Columbia Asia Iskandar Puteri Hospital and CBH Recycle as well as the involvement of Southern Volunteers (SV).
The objective of this campaign is to increase community awareness of the dangers of dengue fever and the importance of keeping the environment clean, in addition to increasing efficiency in dengue control activities.
Among the activities carried out are health checks, health exhibitions, sales of recycled goods and mutual aid.
