Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) is currently implementing a tourism infrastructure development project in Kampung Sungai Melayu, involving two main components:
1. Leluri Stop
2. Leluri base
So far, the construction works have reached 20% progress and are expected to be fully completed by the end of 2025.
This initiative is an effort to support the aspirations of the Johor State Government in empowering the local tourism sector through the provision of conducive, attractive and visitor-friendly facilities — in order to make Johor a tourist destination of choice for domestic and foreign tourists.
MBIP remains committed to playing a strategic role towards the development of a sustainable tourism economy as well as introducing the heritage and natural beauty of Iskandar Puteri to the world.
