A training session on Manual and Mechanical Material Handling as well as Basic Ergonomics in Store Management was conducted at MBIP.
This training provides participants with exposure to proper methods of lifting, arranging, and moving materials, as well as the use of assistive equipment such as trolleys or machinery like cranes and others.
In addition, an explanation of the risks of musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) and ways to prevent them was also emphasized. In addition, a safe and ergonomic store layout was also demonstrated to the participants.
The implementation of proper work practices is crucial in reducing injuries and increasing daily productivity.
