DRIVE TO SAVE RECYCLING PROGRAM ISKANDAR PUTERI CITY COUNCIL 2025
06 September 2025 | Aeon Mall, Bukit IndahIskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) together with strategic partner, CBH Recycle (M) Sdn Bhd in collaboration with Aeon Mall, Bukit Indah and the Johor Department of Environment (DOE) have organized the Drive To Save Recycling Program located at the Drive Thru Drop Off Counter near Parking D.
This program was also attended by Nusa Bestari Zone Council Member, Puan Tan Hiang Kee who also officiated the launch of the program.
As a result of this program, a total of 1171kg of recycled goods have been successfully collected consisting of plastic, paper, cardboard, iron, used cooking oil, e-waste and others, at the same time saving 3438.82 carbon factor CO2.
This program was created as an alternative to the garbage disposal solution that is now prevalent in all MBIP administrative areas where the community only needs to send recycled goods on a drive-thru basis using the Waste To Wealth (WTW) concept. Through this program, the community can also educate themselves and their families, especially children, to separate the types of garbage by category.
In addition, this program is conducted to increase environmental awareness and educate the community about the importance of taking care of the environment and giving the public the opportunity to take positive action towards the preservation of the environment.
The Council would like to thank the community for their support in participating in this program to reduce the negative impact on the environment and provide opportunities for future generations to enjoy a healthier earth.
